--- Orrery: playing synths / tocar sintes ---
Orrery is a MIDI generator: it plays other instruments, it does not make sound by itself
(Preview sound, in Outputs, is a simple built-in synth for trying it out).
- Ableton Live: load the VST3 on a MIDI track. On each synth track set MIDI From = that track,
"Orrery", and the lane's channel (Lane 1 = channel 1, and so on). Live sends AU plugins' MIDI
nowhere, so use the VST3. Live merges channels when routing between tracks: to split lanes,
use a virtual port in Outputs (IAC Driver on macOS, loopMIDI on Windows) or one Orrery per
track with Link set to Lead and Follow.
- Hardware synths: in Outputs, pick the synth's USB or MIDI interface port for each lane.
- Standalone: pick the ports in Outputs; MIDI clock out is there too.
